Welcome Authors! I have created this site because you have inspired me. You are writers. You are young men and women who have the courage to write the truth. This is a space for us to continue as writers, continue to write our stories. Here you have voice. We can help each other become better writers by reading and responding to each other's writing. We must remember to be gentle and positive in our responses. It takes a lot of courage to be a writer, but it is also scary to put our thoughts out to the world. There are many ways to help each other become stronger writers. Ask questions. It helps the writer to add details, to stretch in thought and feeling. Use the thesaurus. It is a great tool and enhances our vocabulary. Don't forget the use of metaphor and simile. They are wonderful, artistic ways to create that picture in someone's mind. Most important, remember you are artists. Your words are your paints; your canvas is here. The greater your vocabulary, the more color you bring to your work of art.
